Water management as part of coffee farming practices|Nestlé

We aim to improve water management by introducing better agricultural techniques at farm level.

Our progress

A module on water management is included in the 4C (Common Code for Coffee Community) training we give to the farmers in the Nescafé Plan.

The objective of the training at farm level is to:

• Avoid wasting water by monitoring the use of water;

• Avoid polluting water through filtering and treating waste water on farms by using local materials and simple techniques; and

• Preserve water quality by protecting the natural water sources on farms.
