Social media house rules for Nestlé Central and West Africa

Thank you for joining! This page is for everyone with an interest in Nestlé Central and West Africa. Without intending to be restrictive, these rules are to guide us in our social media engagements.

Here are our House Rules:

  1. Be original: Respect the intellectual property rights of others by only sharing video content, links, photographs, and texts if you have rights to it. If you do not own it or have permission, please do not post it. You are responsible for the content you post on this Page.
  2. Be mindful of people’s privacy: Refrain from sharing personal, private, or confidential information about other people.
  3. Keep it clean: Avoid any indecent, false, fraudulent, misleading, unlawful or inappropriate posts.
  4. No personal attacks: Please avoid any aggressive, defamatory or threatening posts. Also refrain from posting any information inciting racial, ethnocentric, religious, national, gender or political conflicts.
  5. Stay on topic: Avoid spam messages or posts, good luck/chain posts, commercial/advertising/promotional posts, or solicitation of donations or repetitive postings on the page. Also, do not upload or attach files that contain viruses, are corrupt, or any other similar software or programs.
  6. Sensitive Posts: Avoid sharing any personal details such as phone numbers, address, bank account number, passwords, or sensitive data or information of a workplace investigation, on-going litigation and the like.
  7. Unsolicited ideas/Post of any Idea: Posts of unsolicited ideas or any idea are deemed to be entirely voluntary, non-confidential, gratuitous and non-committal. Nestlé has no obligation, either express or implied, to develop or use the said post or idea. In that regard, no compensation is due you or anyone else for any inadvertent or intentional use of that idea, related ideas or ideas derived from your posts.
  8. Minors: Avoid sharing photographs, videos or other posts on minors.
  9. Parental Consent: Persons below the age of 18 are required to obtain parental consent before participating on this page.
  10. Introduce yourself: If you are affiliated with Nestlé (employee, agency, incentivized blogger, brand ambassador, etc.) be sure to let everyone know. Your posts should reflect this affiliation.
