Will these be full-time jobs / part-time jobs / apprenticeships / other?
The Global Youth Initiative is based on four pillars:
We will hire 20,000 young people aged below 30 across Nestlé sites in Europe, Middle East and North Africa and in all functions by 2020.
We will open 15,000 apprenticeship and traineeship positions across Nestlé sites in Europe, Middle East and North Africa by 2020. We will introduce apprenticeship schemes (VET, school leavers, higher education) in all countries.
We will organise “Readiness for work” workshops (CV clinics, career counselling) in partnership with schools & universities.
We will provide 230 000 job & training opportunities by 2020 with our 200+ “Alliance 4 YOUth” business partners. We will support business-education collaboration with the European Pact for Youth.
What kind of jobs are there?
The roles being offered as part of the initiative will be across all different business areas and at all levels within the company: from factory operators, to sales assistants and business management, according to our business needs and country-specific contexts. All of them will be opportunities to learn and grow.
Will apprentices and trainees be offered fixed jobs afterwards?
We want apprenticeships / traineeships to be the first step on a career ladder for young people, either with Nestlé or with other companies. Depending on the needs of the business, some of them will continue at Nestlé.

Do you hire young apprentices below the age of 15?
You need to be at least 15 years old to apply for an apprenticeship / traineeship.
