60 years of impacting lives in Ghana

Since its establishment in 1957, Nestlé Ghana Ltd has over the past sixty years been committed to promoting Nutrition, Health and Wellness of individuals and families in Ghana. On the occasion of the 60th independence of Ghana, the company, as old as Ghana’s independence, reflects on its significant contribution to other relevant sectors such as Education, Youth and Sports and Agriculture to create shared value for society.

An official launch event to commemorate the yearlong series of activities was held today March 17th, 2017 at the Forecourt of its Head office in Dzorwulu to present the company’s contribution to national development over the past sixty years to the sector Ministry, the media and other Stakeholders,.

Speaking at the event, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Hon. Alan Kyerematen, expressed the significant contribution Nestlé has made to the development of Ghana. “Nestlé has shown commitment to making an impact in society. I would like to commend Nestlé for its investment in human capacity development and local sourcing of raw materials for production.”

In her address, Managing Director for Nestlé Ghana, Mrs. Freda Y. Duplan emphasised that “building a strong brand starts with building sustainable business and creating shared value for both business and society. At Nestlé, we are proud that the achievement of sixty years of contributing to nutrition, health and wellness, has been achieved together with employees, customers, consumers, key external stakeholders such as government and communities, individuals and families.

Nestlé aims at enhancing the quality of life and contributing to a healthier future.
