Nestlé Cameroun, through its NIDO® brand, has rewarded the loyalty of its consumers by offering distinguished prizes worth over 30 million FCFA francs. This initiative demonstrates Nestlé’s commitment to valuing its loyal consumers.
Present in Cameroon for over 40 years, the NIDO® brand is recognized for its nutritional benefits, and its NIDO® milk powder, enriched with essential vitamins and minerals, can be consumed at any time of the day.
The “NIDO® Cè Gagné” promotion, which ran from March to June 2024, aimed to bring joy to parents and support them in the healthy growth and strengthening the immunity of their children. More than a million consumers across Cameroon participated, with instant wins and a raffle, rewarding over 500,000 individuals.
The couple, Mr. and Mrs. Yakan Pierre Celestin from Ebolowa, won the grand prize: a titled 250m² plot of land in Douala, during a raffle broadcasted on Jambo TV, Canal 2 International. Additionally, 37 individuals won household appliances, including gas cookers, TV screens, fans, kettles, and electric irons.
“It’s still a dream for me. NIDO® has completely changed my family’s life. When I learned about the “NIDO® Cè Gagné” promotion, I immediately told my children to start keeping the sachets after consuming the milk. I can’t believe that just by consuming NIDO® we won a titled 250 m² plot of land,” testified Mrs. Yakan, who initiated her family’s participation in the campaign.
To officially present the grand prize of the campaign, Nestlé invited the couple, as well as some Douala-based winners to visit its factory in Bonaberi. The visit allowed the consumers to see where and how their favorite Nestlé products, including NIDO® powdered milk, are made.

Participation in the promotion was open to all adults. They could participate by returning NIDO® sachets worth 5000 FCFA, buying NIDO® products worth 5000 FCFA, and registering to participate in a grand raffle “NIDO® Cè Gagné”, with the chance to win the titled plot of land and a host of household appliances.
