Nestlé Cameroun marked World Food Safety Day with a workshop attended by employees from 10 local suppliers. Participants were equipped with the knowledge and tools to anticipate and prevent food-borne risks.
Held at the company’s factory in Bonaberi - Douala, the workshop presented important information on Nestlé's global food safety and the key role of suppliers in the implementation of its quality system.
At the opening ceremony, Julia Atta, the Douala Factory Manager, underlined Nestlé Cameroun's commitment to food safety. "Nestlé Cameroun is FSSC 22000 V5.1 certified, this means that our products are manufactured respecting high safety and quality standards. Our objective is to meet consumers' expectations by providing them with products of high nutritional quality.
