When buying our mangoes, pawpaw and other fruits and vegetables the natural instinct is to think that fresh produce is always better, based on the assumption that ‘processed’ food loses a lot of it’s nutrition. However that might not be entirely true, as fresh fruits and vegetables actually lose nutrients faster than canned and frozen foods, particularly during the long journey from the farms to the market or shop.
